Arnold is the main character. (His name is in the title for cripes sakes!) Hes more mature then any of the people he meets. And more mature then any of my fellow classmates. (Which is really sad!) Arnold's best friend is Gerald. No one seems to know his last name. Oh, yeah, and to state the "unobvious" he has a football shaped head.

Helga G. Pataki is the meanest girl in all of PS 118's fourth grade. Shes bossy, over powering, and has it bad for Arnold. Yes, you read right! She loves Arnold! She has a shrine in her closet, poems, and a locket. Only problem is that, no one knows, except the smart ones. (not that I mean Lila is smart or anything.) Not even Arnold knows. (not yet, anyway!) Her best friend is Phoebe.

Gerald Johanson is the keeper of tales. He tells ledgands to all the kids. Other then Helga and Arnold he is the best speaker of the group. He is thought to have been seen looking at Phoebe with those "puppy doged" eyes. But it's all a behind the scene love thing. You have to really watch them. Geralds best friend is Arnold.

Phoebe Hyerdahl is the smartest girl in fourth grade. She was once transfered into the sixth grade. She is supposely known to like Gerald. Her best friend is Helga. Phoebe is a quiet, shy girl. But when pushed around she blows! But then reframes into her normal, quiet self.

Curly is the class weirdo. He is well known to just yell out random comments. EXP: "Lets paint ourselves in tiger stripes and free all the animals from the zoo!!" He has big red glasses, which makes you wonder what goes on behind them.
